Cool and immobile stillness of a magnificent snow valley is on my new painting. This is my favorite oil on canvas of size 24" x 20". Viewpoint is from a mountain located across the valley. Majestic white peaks on the horizon under a deep blue sky surrounded by whitened evergreens. There are tracks of human presence in a form of low buildings among the trees but very subtle against the powerful snowy shapes of the mountains in the background. Coolness and stillness of deep snow is the theme of the painting.
